Since KYSYS Corp. has been getting itself absorbed in developing new technologies continuously in the field of the blue print machine and its related industries and also Digital, Network and Color fields which we have been promoting recently are related very deeply with the actual demanding business sectors such as civil and architectural construction, shipbuilding and automobile engineering, we have been taking precedence in the blue print machine market in terms of market share.
In addition, as many blue print machine companies of the advanced countries including G7 have lost their competitive power and become bankrupt due to the sharp change of the market environment, we have exported our blue print machines to them by OEM(Original equipment manufacturing). After the situation of IMF, thanks to the improvement of exporting environment and our strategic niche marketing, we have been exporting our machines to Thailand, Taiwan and China. Especially, we regard this year, 2002, as the actual first year of capturing china market.
By succeeding in localization of the controller, which connects the large format digital copy technology with the computer, we are getting good response from the growing total reprographic market in which nowadays many customers are entering and requiring various conditions.
In addition, to prepare for the large format digital multi functional system and color markets, we acquired the right of sole distributor in Korea by contracts with Katsuragawa Electric Co. Ltd in Japan(1994), MINOLTA in Japan(1996) and Colortrac in UK(1998). As the sole distributor in Korea of mentioned companies, we plan to grow our company gradually in the market of digital, network and color. And also, we will lead the substitute market for the existing analog and mono market with active marketing strategies targeting for the demand of the copy shops serving large number of copy job and the demand for the multi functional systems in various kinds of offices.
